Good afternoon!

In today's class we worked on the order of numbers, telling time, counting money, addition and subtraction, blends, and our cursive.  We also read For The Love of Fruggles and wrote about it in our journals.  The children also attended french and drama classes where they had lots of fun!

Homework:  Read for 15 minutes and record in the reading chart, practice weekly spelling words, finish cursive pages 30 - 31 (grades one and two), and finish the Letters and Sounds book pages 21 - 22 (grade two) if necessary.

Important information:  Tomorrow is gym day.  The candy store will be open tomorrow if you would like your child to purchase something.  I am still waiting for a few field trip forms to be sent in.  Please send these in as soon as possible.  I have only received one request to volunteer on the trip so far.  If you are interested, please let me know either on the form, or via your child's agenda.  I sent home a sheet about how to make Fruggles from string at home.  This is an optional activity that your child can do on their spare time at home if they choose.  This is not mandatory.

Best regards,

Mrs. Nelson
